Ternion Security ("Ternion," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit our website, request early access, or otherwise interact with us. By using this site or submitting information through it, you agree to this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including:

  • Name (first and last)
  • Business email address
  • Company name
  • Job title
  • Mobile phone number, only if you voluntarily provide it so a Ternion Security employee can reach you by text message for conversational, person-to-person communication
  • SMS opt-in data and consent records
  • Any other information you submit through forms or correspondence

We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, and pages viewed, via standard server logs and cookies.

3. How We Use Information

  • To respond to early access requests and inquiries
  • To send product updates, launch information, and related communications
  • To enable conversational, person-to-person text messaging between you and a Ternion Security employee if you have provided a mobile number
  • To improve our website, products, and services
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
  • To detect, prevent, and respond to security incidents and fraud

4. SMS / Text Messaging Privacy Policy

This section applies to conversational person-to-person SMS communications between you and a Ternion Security employee using a mobile number you have provided. It supplements, and does not modify, the rest of this Privacy Policy.

Ternion Security provides low-volume, one-to-one conversational SMS between Ternion Security employees and people who voluntarily request early access, product information, introductory calls, or pilot discussions.

Platform providers and mobile carriers process mobile information only as necessary to transmit and deliver messages you request and to support the text messaging service. They may not use SMS opt-in data or consent for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Mobile information, including phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, and consent, will not be shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Reply STOP to unsubscribe. After opting out, no further messages will be sent from that number unless the recipient replies START to resume. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or of using our services.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use a minimal set of cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, and analyze traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may impair site functionality.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share non-SMS personal information with the following categories of recipients:

  • Service providers that operate on our behalf (for example, email delivery, database hosting, and analytics) under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal and safety recipients when required by law, to protect our rights, or to respond to lawful requests.
  • Business transfer recipients in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

These categories apply only to non-SMS personal information. Mobile information, SMS opt-in data, and consent are expressly excluded from marketing or promotional sharing and remain subject to Section 4.

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

8. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system, however, can be guaranteed completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted to or from us.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access, correct, or delete personal information about you
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Opt out of marketing emails and SMS by replying STOP
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
